Account Stolen [Need Advice]
OK so i got both of my accounts stolen [yes i am a noob and fell to a scam] and really want to get them back. I emailed A-net account support, and they sent me an email telling me to verify my accounts, but i lost my cd keys! come on A-net, I have been playing for four years, and their CD keys come on a little white piece of paper. I was about 9 when i got the game and did not really understand the importance of it. Please, Someone please give me advice on what i should do.

There is nothng no one here can help you with this only support and having those keys shows ownership of the account holder.Sorry to hear about this but always keep best to keep your product keys even for microsoft products as it shows licence holder.

If you have no remote idea whatsoever on where the keys are, you're pretty much screwed. You might be able to get your account back with just personal info (real name, address, etc), but I doubt it.
The only advice we can give you is look for the keys (do you still have the boxes they came in?). Seriously, this is just a forum, there isn't anything we can do to persuade Anet to give you your account back.

Marty pretty much sums it up.
I hate to say it but, you might just have to start over from scratch if you're willing to do so and if you and have the funds to buy a new GW account. From what I hear, Steam is having a sale of all 4 games for $29 if you want to look into that. Good luck. |

You can try giving them other proofs, such as character names and creation dates, titles earned, personal information, but it doesn't look good.

CD Keys are a very vital piece of information that NCsoft needs to return stolen accounts to their rightfull owners, because they really are the only proof of purchase/ownership of an account one can show.I highly suggest you really look hard for your Prophecies,Faction, or Nightfall keys(they will not accept Eye of the North keys).Best of luck.

i had this same issue when i moved to china. they thought i was some kind of bit because i was logging in from a chinese IP, where previously i was in the UK.
i moved to china for a year and anet said i needed my CD keys... of all the shit i needed to bring to china, i never though of packing my CD keys... as it seemed like a waste of time. anyways... back to the point, i was able to get my account back by giving them all my info. the account i bought stuff from the online store from. my xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CD keys from the game NCSoft website etc... was a bitch, but you can do it |

I'm afraid that there is only so much ANet can do in such a case. After all, you wouldn't want them to give away accounts just because someone says it's theirs, with no proof.
And, since someone has stolen your accounts, even if you get them back, all of your good stuff and gold, would be gone anyway. So, your only choices may be to either start over with a new account, or quit and play something else while waiting (and waiting, and waiting) for Duke Nukem... er, GW2. |
